Battlefield 3 won't launch after windows 10 2004 update

Hi,

after installing the windows 2004 update bf3 won't launch anymore.

I have the steam version, but also tested it with the origin version on a different machine. Both times, you see that the cpu usage is going up a little for a short time and then nothing, battlelog will stop by saying joining server or intializing campaign. Steam and origin shortly saying playing battlefield 3 and going back to normal afterwards.

Before the update the game ran without any problems. I've used all browser (also Internet with plugin) to start and repaired and reinstalled the game with no luck. Therefore it seems that this error is directly linked to the new windows update, because as i said, everything worked fine before with absolutely no problems.

There is also a thread in steam talking about the problem, but this should also be mentioned here in the forum as it seems this is not restricted to the steam version only.

Hope this can be fixed
