Battlefield 4 - multiplayer crash, when are the patches/updates coming?

First of all I'd like to say when the game works it's great - I made the switch from cod and I have been impressed.
However, every game I play of multiplayer is crashing to the xbone homescreen. It's ruining the experience and beginning to put me off playing full stop.

I also lost all my single player data, it was just wiped.

Add these things together and I'm left with an unplayable game.

I'd like to know if their are updates iminent that can fix these issues - specific dates.
If not i'm going to return BF4 and get COD ghosts - it's nowhere near as good but at least it's reliable.
