Battlefield 4 - Vehicles won't accelerate

That sounds like a weird issue, as you mentioned "keybindings", I guess you are playing on PC?

Did you reset the keybindings aka tried to re-bind the shift key? You should perform a "Repair Install" in Origin, just rightclick on your BF4 icon in your My Games library.

Is there a fix for this?  I'm having the same exact problem.  When I press "w" to accelerate, vehicles slowly drift backwards.  Pressing "s" to reverse, does nothing at all.  Happens online and in campaign.  I have changed the accelerate button to different keys, same result.

Had a controller plugged in.  I'm an idiot and didn't read the previous post.  Did a fix on the install and it's working fine now.

No problem, glad it works again. =)
