Battlefield 4 asking for permissions and does not start

Hi i am using the EA app and BF4 when i start it pops up with a box (attached image) asking for admin priviledges.  

i have followed various problem solving methods and cannot solve this

Windows UAC is set to lowest

performed clean boot

reinstalled EA app

reinstalled BF4

updated all drivers - windows nvidia etc

updated and check PB

Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates 

Install/Repair your VC++ files for BF4 (Microsoft VC++ Link)

All other BF games are fine its just BF4

    As far as I know, then the support and keeping the BF4 Companion App up to date was discontinued several years back.  Some of it may still work, but a lot is no longer working.  Suggest you just start it up the game directly now in the most basic standard way instead.

    Hi thanks but the companion app doesnt really work anymore - i have also tried launching through battlelog but that just starts the EA app.... So frustrating

    @bulge32 

    Is there more profiles/accounts on that PC you play on?

    Are you the admin on this PC?

    Maybe  try to start EA app and/or game app as admin to see if there is a difference.
