Battlefield 4 Constant Freezes/Stuttering

Alright I don't think I ever noticed it being this bad when the game came out or even during Beta for that matter. Lower FPS down to like 40s sometimes, sure. But that doesn't happen often anymore. My new problem for the past few weeks have been 1-10 second freezes in-game constantly. No matter what map, how many playeys there are on the server it happens. The game is quite unplayable considering whenever I'm in a firefight I freeze and get killed. I already tried setting the game to run on x64 in Origin. I've also tried lowering the game settings all the way down to the lowest but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I have updated NVIDIA Drivers 331.82 and everything else. I will post my specs and copy of dxdiag so that I can get the best help possible.

i7 920 2.67 GHz (OC@3.82)

EVGA GTX 760 2GB

ASUS P6T D0 Mobo

9 GB RAM

1 TB HDD (with around 212 GB open space left)

  • I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM CAN YOU CHECK THIS

According to the Event Manager, this is what always happens:

In some random point, under the Application tab:

'A request to disable the Desktop Window Manager was made by process (4)' being the origin the Desktop Windows Manager, event ID 9010.

At the same time, also Desktop Windows Manager under event ID 9013 informs that it can't be restarted because an application make it so.

4 sencods later, under the System tab on Event Manager appears the classic 'nvlddmkm' error under event ID 4101 cited as a 'warning'.

    It's always the same pattern.

I understand that the cause of such error could be virtually ANYTHING.

  • Like I said I have my drivers update to to date and if I missed any they would probably show up in Windows Update which I've done recently to update whatever it asks me. About unparking my cores, not sure how to do that but I don't see why they would be 'parked'. I am pretty sure I have my 4 cores available for use.  To answer your other question I have applications like Steam, Origin, Google Chrome and Skype running usually. I tried closing most of them but again that doesn't even make a difference. The frustration..

  • Still having this problem and guess what? My game just crashed. Seems I can't get any help around here. Useless.. useless.. waste of my damn money.
