The Battlefield 4 Exclusive Beta Pre-Load does not install for me I downloaded the 5.6gb and it will nto install.

So let me get this straight, you download the game fine but the game wont install? If that's the case, it shouldn't have anything to do with maintaince or overloaded servers. I would suggest the following fixes: Try using the newest Origin beta (Origin--> Application Settings --> Origin Beta Participation --> Restart Origin) Make sure you are on an administrator acount on the computer Run Origin as administrator Sometimes downloads go wrong, try removing the downloaded files and try again.

Make sure you are running Origin with administrative priviledges. To do so, right-click the Origin icon on your desktop or in your programs list and select Run as administrator. If that doesn't help, are you seeing any error message?

Hello,the problem is easy to solve.Default installation of Origin it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin and this is the problem.To solve the issue i did this: - Unistall Origin - Install Origin in C:\Origin (or any other path without space)After that everything is working fine. I also did not redownload BF4 Beta.Good Luck

this worked for me, install looked a bit strange but it seems to have worked. ill have to wait and see once the game is fully avaliable. thanks for the help mate 🙂

Yeah... sooo.. what do we do? Mine's just stuck at 20% on the installation. Doesn't matter if I run it on Administrator or not. Nor if I check the Origin Beta box. Can't cancel it.. can't pause it.. hmm...

Same problem. Pre loaded this yesterday and when i press the intall button it just does nothing. Yes i have orgin.exe on admin. I dont seem to have this problem with any other origin games. Yes my system can run it. Origin wont even let me delete files as when i do it still does same thing its typical ffin EA to be honest. Am i surprised hell no.

Can i add that even if you take iff offline it does the same thing. I shouldnt have anyhting to do with servers as its downloaded the installation files to your computer. What happens if you press the install button it does the loading bar then just stops after about 2 seconds. Really ea this is a joke

Are you guys still having this problem? I woke up this morning at around 5:00 AM for the beta, and I'm trying to install it now but it isn't working. Also, I do have x64 bit operating system, I am running origin as admin, and I did check the "upgrade to beta version when available" box in the application settings.

Uninstalled and installed origin (had origin beta)
and its installing now
20% i hope its not stuck or something
will update
Edit: yep its stuck with damn dxsetup, but i think i saw solution somewhere

Just stopped the stuck installation and iam back at unable to install -.-

I checked installation log and identified the problem. It doesn't have anything to do with either admin priviledges (my Windows account is of administrator type) or servers of any kind, since I've already downloaded all the data.

well u got it further than me
mine stops at "14:20:48" of your log, dxsetup
now everytime I want to retry the installation I have to reinstall the origin

well I got it now

Hard to say what I did

Was reinstalling origin (not using origin beta) every time I wanted to retry the BF4 installation

I have also replaced _Installer\vc\vc2012Update3\redist\vcredist_x64.exe as was suggested in other Thread with this:

and also installed everything manually in _Installer folder before doing installation

Just mess with it while reinstalling origin everytime you get stuck somewhere.
