This sounds like a peripheral (mouse, controller etc) with drift.
Check if the issue continues when using another mouse/controller.

Correct @EA_Barry ,
And for some PC players this problem/symptom have even appeared at times due to 'cross-contamination of the signal' from other connected devices on same USB multiplexer port. So if its not joystick/mouse/key drifting from the input device, then the player should try also to unplug all other USB devices that are not required for the specific gaming and see if that helps to solve the problem.
It can also be the origin app, you can disable it while playing games, my mouse turned totally haywire before I disabled it ingame.
