Battlefield 4 has the wrong release dates

I was finally able to preload today. Today being the 28th of october. The problem is my friend was able to preload before me on Saturday the 26th, but I was unable to do preload at that time even though we live only an hour apart. On Battlefield 4 in my games library it says the release date is on the 30th, which is incorrect for my area. According to this official EA post https://help.ea.com/article/battlefield-4-worldwide-release-schedule It should come out on the 29th in North America. I'm worried I wont be able to play it on the real release date because it hindered me from preloading because the preload date on the game in the library was the 28th and it was only till today the 28th I was able to preload. In fact in the official post the game releases no where on the 30th. The dates in the post go from the 29th skipping the 30th and going striaght to the 31st. I hope someone can help.

  • This is a piece of crap EA!!    Release times through ATT Uverse I am in DFW, Texas - says I can no tplay for another 30 hours from now!!!!  I ordered it 2 weeks ago with premium!!   Preload was okay.  You did not say it was going to be a problem with UVERSE players!!!

Yeah I can't play either -_- I even got an email saying I could, but nope. I preordered almost right out fo beta! I want to play the game that I spent 60 bucks on, on the release date! NOT A DAY LATER! It's not even like they are having a problem with their servers not handling the problem. Its that Origin has the wrong release date forcing me to wait another day for my game. Never preordering from origin again.

  • If you are still having problems try this - it's free for a day on this site - others will charge small fee.

I set up a Virtual Private Network - VPN - which maskes your IP and will let you play.  Very small download- iinstalls in like 10 seconds for me.

if you want to read about it....

    www.howstuffworks.com/vpn.htm

Website- free 1 day trial....you can find others for about $10/month

    https://proxify.com/

So at least you can play tonight or tomorrow until they fix this crap.

Download it.  - I choose windows tray

    Quite Origin  - exit

Start the VPN - Check Options - Run at Startup

Choose your closest place City for your IP...it really doesn't matter, but your speed will help

    Restart computer

    start Origin

Your new IP will be ready for gaming!!  Game on!

I played for about 5 hours so far today.

    No problems
