PLEASE HELP ☹️
Almost every time I play a multiplayer game, battlefield 4 crashes. More specifically, it just dissapears, leaving me staring at battlelog in the browser. The blue bar at the bottom of battlelog quickly changes its text to say "Transitioning". It appears as though the game has just been minimized but whn you click it, nothing. ctrl alt del shows that bf4.exe is still "running". It has to be terminated in the task manager. This crash happens intermittently but VERY often. Almost every game I play. Sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 45. The patch has been with me since launch. From patch to patch it has varied in frequency (almost ceasing completely for a month or so). After the latest patch, the game is totally unplayable. I cannot finish a match.
Things I have tried:
Running both 64bit and 32bit versions of the game as both admin and not.
Running with origin enabled and disabled during game.
Updated all MOBO drivers, sound drivers, graphics card drivers.
Unistalled conflicting (possibly) nvdia hd audio drivers.
Manually uninstalled, reinstalled, updated punkbuster and changed firewall settings for it.
Run at all different graphical settings from low to ultra, vsync on and off, borderless windowed mode and full screen (the only difference was the fps, never the crash time, still seemingly random, but inevitable).
Run at all different audio settings and qualities in Realtek hd audio manager and in game.
Monitored cpu and gpu temps while in game (they are both perfectly normal).
Repairing bf4 installation and reinstalling
Completely diabling all audio devices
port forwarding
My rig:
msi nvidia 660ti
msi z77 big bang mpower mobo
16 gigs ddr3 ram (corsair)
i7 - 3770k 3.5ghz
windows 7 ultimate
Any advice or possible sollutions will be GREATLY appreciated. I am on the verge of uninstalling the game and microwaving the dvd. Thanks in advace you handsome devil 🙂
