I have bf486.exe crashes every time how i can fix it ?
I bought BF 4 and keep me playing for 5-10 minutes
black screen required a hard reboot.
I tried to reduce detali low and the same.
does anyone know what to do?
BF3 and other games are OK
computer:
Processor Core i5-2500K
Ram: 8 GB
Video: Radeon HD 6850 1 gigabyte DDR5

Have had game installed for over a year with no issues now out of the blue freezing up as soon as it loads its so strange cuz i havnt changed a thing. Was able to resolve issue by turning off settings in origin.Post by BomberNZ under subject Game playing then freezing
Unfortunately BF4 freezes (black sreen) still further.
Only time stretched to 45-60 min. to a black screen and a hard reset.
Tried MSI-Afterburner:
Start it and set normnal (in settings) start with windows and move the Power-Limit slider to +20. After That click Apply overclocking at system startup- the green light should shine BE.
But it has no effect:-(
Temperature while playing Radeon HD 6850 1 gigabyte of DDR5 is 60 degrees.
I do not know advice, I tried everything about the game back to the store ...
and install a BF 3 that goes OK. :-(anyone?
I have the same issue. I play about five minutes, and the game freezes requiring a hard reset. Didn't happen on any other game. I've done everything possible. Checked the event viewer, tried resolving the issues that were there, not many. I got so frustrated I even reinstalled Windows 8. Went through the event viewer when I was still getting crashes. Finally caved in checked here only to find a slew of other people getting the same issue. Edit: Fortunately for me though I am trying out their week trial. I didn't purchase the game because BF3 was a wreck for about a year or so. I thought that they would have ironed out the issues with this game by now as it has been over a year. Glad that I have not spent money on this broken game.
