Battlefield 4 PC DVD Help

So I have just recieved the PC DVD of Battlefield 4, firstly I inserted the first disk which adds BF4 to my Origin games list. The next step I have to take I am slightly confused about, the only option I have is to download a 22GB file. Now I am very confused as to why because the game data should be stored on the disks right? Why do I have to download 22GB of data and how can I install the game using the disks?
