Battlefield 4 PS3 Crashes in Campaign Shanghai
I saw the same post where others are having this issue. Someone posted the fix was don't install an update 1.05. Possibly that would fix the issue but updates normally are designed to fix multiple issues. Un-installing an update appears to me not to be the correct procedure. Please help!
Mine is crashing in Shanghai as well. At the moment I die on top of the roof of the building while saving the VIP's the game seems to reload the checkpoint but the loading screen remains on screen. The game looks to be running as I can shoot it, and die, but only the loading screen is visible.
I have this same problem. I see a Blinnking line in the upper right hand corner of the screen and I hear the game but no picture. I restated the level three times and I can die any time expect at that point. Sucks because I was actually enjoying the campain.

ive just bought the game looking forward to the single player, and then i believe its the same for me as you guys.
get to the chopper with the vip, and if i die after that checkpoint, restarting it just has the blinking load cursor, audio with no video.
the game must continue to play in the background, as i can shoot and hear myself run about, i can also die, and even when respawning at that checkpoint it does the same....
pressing start at this point seems to have no effect on video, and cant resume from paused state. have to quit game or restart console.
very dissapointed that this has been flagged in December and now its near the end of January! and theres no info or updates that i can find..
i would expect problems in MP but really the single player should be pretty much ironed out during beta. and certainly action taken when the public offer information in such quantities.
well unfortunately if this cannot be resolved or no further info is apparent, then this game will be returned as not fit for purpose.
so mr EA whats happening?
