Battlefield 4 PS3 Crashes in Campaign Shanghai

This has been happening for a very long time now. And, I've already completed the campaign. but it says I haven't finished it yet. So, I decided to go and finish it. so  I started off on mission 1. and when i finished it. and went to the 2nd mission, It started loading. and loading. and loading. And It wouldn't stop. It just keeps loading and it won't ever go on to the mission. so I can't continue the campaign. I even tried deleting some save files. but It still didn't help.

  • Hello @BvillemntBoy10,

I would try clearing your PlayStation 3's cache like this, as this sounds like an issue caused by corrupted data:

    1. While in the PlayStation 3 Cross-Menu Bar (XMB) go to the "Game" section.
    2. Scroll through until you find a folder called "Game Data Utility"
    3. Open the folder to populate the Game Data list
    4. Scroll though the Game Data list until you find the game that you are looking for (In this case Battlefield)
    5. With the game entry you need highlighted, press the Triangle button
    6. An options menu associated with the game you have highlighted will appear on the right hand side of the menu.
    7. Select "Delete" and press X to confirm.
    8. Once you have deleted the cache data, you will be asked to download any missing data the next time you play the game.

If I do this, Will I lose all of my experience and levels, I've earned in the game? including all of my weapons, accessories, camo's, etc?

No progress should be lost at all.
