Was just completing campaign on Hard , PS3 froze in beginning of Mission 5 with Dima. Had to restart system and all progress lost, even dog tags and weapons I had previously gotten running through Campaign on easy and normal. Really disappointed at this as now I have to rerun the missions on Hard again. Geesh, I know they want us to play the game but I really don't want to replay this **bleep** over and over and lose everything I have done when the system freezes up. I mean I see the game skip and all I can think is OMG please don't mess up again! When I see that damn autosave icon in the corner I expect it to friggin work and at least save my progress up until the restart! This has already happened once when I was playing campaign on normal and now again. I really hope we will get some kind of update ASAP to address this crap! I have every one of the Battlefield games but I am about to use them as friggin drink coasters! I love playing multiplayer but I love the campaign story lines as well and expect them to work correctly before release to the general public. If all you care about is getting money for a P.O.S. game then you can count me out for the next one.
Update: Have now completed all 3 experiences and all 3 modes and yet the damn game has still not given me the trophies for all this. EA/DICE, you need to fix this and give the players who have accomplished the goals the trophies they worked over 30 hours to complete. yes over 30 hours with all the freezes, resets and BS that I have gone through to get this acheivement done. Furthermore, you need to fix the glitch in Kunlun Mountains that doesn't show all the dogtags after you have gotten them.
Trophies the game did not give me after I played this on all modes are as follows:
1. Patience is a virtue
2. Full arsenal
3. Above and beyond the call
I will be working on the .45 old school trophy and I hope that you will fix this problem and somehow update the players that should have received this ASAP so we can acheive the platinum trophy for the game.
I am stuck at 80% because of these problems and I am pretty upset that these issues were not found and fixed before you released this game. PLEASE FIX!
