Battlefield 4 won't launch, broken plugin.

I have just Purchased Battlefield 4 in the hope that the plugin issue for Battlefield 3 would dissappear, how wrong am i. the latest plugin 2.3.2_130.exe keeps downloading yet isn't installing and keeps the perpetual cycle of trying to join the servers and being asked to download plugin.   Please get this sorted as I have not been able to play any Battlefield games for about 2 weeks now.

I am using IE11 with Windows8.1 64bit

same issues with ,2.3.2_130  running windows 7. Multiplayer has been inaccessible for a week now, have uninstallled - reinstalled entire game, repaired install. Removed and reinstalled Battlelog plugins. updated graphics drivers. A tad frustrating. Any ideas?

Please check following workarounds and keep us updated:

    For Chrome:

    1. Uninstalling the Plugin then deleting the containing folder placed in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlelog Web Plugins
    2. Clear Browsing Data ( Settings/Privacy )
    3. Reinstalling the plugin by logging to Battlelog again
    4. In the search bar typing the following command: chrome://plugins
    5. Checking the box Always allowed for ESN Sonar API and Battlelog Game Launcher
    6. Restarting the Browser
    7. Log back into Battlelog via Origin (Play from Battlefield4 icon )
    8. Join a Server

    For Internet Explorer 11

    1. Uninstalling the Plugin then deleting the containing folder placed in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlelog Web Plugins
    2. Restart IE 11
    3. From Internet Options/General tab  -> Clear Browsing data -> Delete button
    4. From Security tab, slide the bar to bottom -> Medium Protection
    5. In Trusted Sites -> .battlefield.com should be added along with battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/ and battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/
    6. It will require a System Restart in order for the 7 step to be applied.
    7. Log in again into Battlelog and download again the plugin.
    8. Join a server.

    Cheers

    Basti

  • Neither of those work-arounds worked.

I havn't played the game in a month due to general playability issues. Logged back in to check it out and you guys cant even figure out a plug-in. I'm no adept at tech, but I've played BF since the begining;; modded, built numerous PC's from the ground up and I've just spent an hour and a half troubleshooting your poor coding.

Get a grip, guys and help us fix your game so that we can play it and give you money.
