Battlefield 4 won't play for xbox 360 slim

I have the xbox 360 slim and every time I try to play it ask me to download the hd add on which I cannot because the 360 slim doesn't have a hard drive and then it just sends me back to the xbox home ...

    Yes BF4 requires an internal HDD in order to play, there is no way to get around that.

If there going to be a actual solution for this problem? If so, when?  Because I have more than 2GB of space in my Xbox slim and yet it doesn't enable me to download the content.

It works unfortunately it's a 129 dollar fix for an issue that shouldn't exist
I very displeased with ea and Microsoft but that's how corporations work...they screw the customer..... If you choose to buy the Microsoft hard drive... Only works with Microsoft hard drive it runs about 129 at best buy... You will not need a cable for it.... There is a side door on your xbox u open it and drop the HHD IN I have no problems with it ....happy hunting
