Battlefield 6 - Is it compulsory to have another monthly/yearly subscription

I have all Battlefield games and bought them through Origin. Will battle field 6 be the same (as with Steam/Origin games-one cost only)  or will we have to purchase the game and then  subscribe to yet another company (EA Play), after Netflix, Amazon, Disney plus, Stan (Australia), You Tube, (you name it) etc etc etc. (when will all these monthly/yearly subscriptions stop?). I want to buy BF6 outright and not have to subscribe to yet another 'entertainment' company.

    You can buy the game once and for all. EA Play subscription is an option that gives you access to all EA Games, it's similar to Xbox Game Pass, it's optional, so if you buy the game you won't need to have EA Play to play the game.

    Thank you for that. Glad to see I don't have to do another monthly/yearly subscription
