To be fair all classes having an anti-vehicle gadget seems a pretty sensible idea. If you're playing Medic in BFV, for example, you don't really have any gadgets like this (unless you're using the M28 of course).
If one feels/thinks the bodyarmor is the main trouble and it should be scrapped, I have alternative balance idea. We could split up ropes and zipline section of assault class and share these items with special forces kit changing the original concept a bit. Much like special forces have type of reconnaissance tools at their fingertips borrowed from recon kit as standalone category.

Just to be clear, I don't think anyone is hating on the body armor idea, it's just something that would be hard to balance. Plates forcing you to go for headshots in Firestorm made perfect sense.
As long as zip-lines can only be deployed facing downward/straight (with the main intention being emergency escape), they would be a pretty cool addition to thr scout/sniper class. I just don't want snipers to be able to easily access strange (read: unintended) vantage points

BF4 had Auto-repair it allowed vehicles to push forward or hide without the driver getting out. BF1/V required you to stop and hide to repair from inside.
No auto or no inside will require vehicles to hide and the driver to get out, this increase the risk of theft, encourage abandonment and vehicle pulling further away from combat to repair.
I just don't see how no inside repair increase teamwork.
Please consider players today. I am not going to sit as a gunnery using a crappy MG just to jump out every now and then to repair. Just for the driver to rack up high scores while I get almost nothing and risk dying.
Remember how many times DICE saw complaints about people stealing vehicles while they where getting repair by the driver.
It means aircraft will have different repair methods which could make it overpowered.

Just as @TTZ_Dipsy said, it's not that we/I am against armor in general, I just don't think it would fit well within the Battlefield multiplayer because you can already survive a barrage of bullets from time to time, even tank hits. I just don't know how you would really balance that and keep a good nice flow going.
Also to add if you have medics with you it just gives you so much life anyway.
If it's a Battle Royale mode then yes, I'm all for the armor because it's pretty much 1 life and you're out.
I love the idea of more dedicated roles but I also see it being a pain in the a$$, because It drives me crazy when so many people pick their role/class and don't actually play their part. If I'm playing tank buster then I'm busting tanks!
What I would like to see (and I know it's a little off class topic) Is everything becoming more difficult for everyone. I would like to see Pilots really have to put some training effort in to mastering aircraft, I'd like to see Tankers have to do the same; and none should be easy to heal, reload etc and instead give them better evasive maneuvers. At least that way maps can't be dominated by one or the other and at the same time still have good survivability whilst still making a good impact. And that is also where dedicated roles would really come into play.
If this turns out to be modern like the everyone is hoping for then the stuff they can add is almost endless.

Zip-lines and grappling hook were a nice addition with Battlefield 2 Special Forces, they shifted the way maps where played quiet a bit. Ziplines where especially great for performing a quick flank, when your team was cornered in.
I do agree with every class being able to do damage to tank, so it does become more of a group effort to take them down. However, I don´t like them having gadgets, that are able to do massive amounts of damage like AT-mines. I would rather like to see every class having the option for a small AT-Grenade. That way you are able to do some damage, yet you are no real threat for a tank, if you are on your own.
As some of you said, I do as well like the usage of armor in Firestorm, but I still don´t see how this would work well in a standard gamemode. Balancing it in a way, so that you would have a reasonable TKK for armored targets, would lead to you getting killed without armor way to quick. We have seen in the past, that "one-frame-deaths" induce a lot of frustration. So adding armor would introduce another form of attrition (having a firefight, losing the armor, searching a resupply position, having to walk back to the frontline) , which nobody really liked at the start of BFV with the ammo situation.
