For a class enthuasist... a sort of purist... inside me would like to say no to all-kit primaries and gadgets. Then again, I haven't had a field day ever since my career started. Don't like the idea of homogeneous classes 😞
Battlefield 1 came closest to that state. Re-installing it right now 😎
Yeah, no all class weapons. That was a terrible idea.

The discussion is about all class weapons. The idea that every class could have carbines, auto snipers, SMGs, shotguns made for poor balance that often had to be fixed by the community through server plugins.

Due to the recon persecution, the only chance recons have to get anything good is for other classes to have access to it too ☹️
I am quite serious about the recon persecution part. in BFV none of the bolt action weapons of the recon had straight pull bolt and every scope had a glint. Meanwhile the medic bolt action weapons had both straight pull bolt and no glint. If that is not bias then I do not know what it is.
