Battlefield bad company 2 failed to connect to EA online

I was playing bfbc2 earlier last night around 11pm est and now at 1am est it's telling me failed to connect to EA online I'm not sure what's going on but I enjoy playing the game with friends a fix or...

Thank you for the posts, we'll look into this. The most recent post was a bit over an hour and a half ago, I take it that the issue persists now?


Edit: testing now I can seem to log in and see my rank.

The problem has persisted for the last five days, I've already checked with punkbuster and it seems that it is indeed a EA server problem. I can pull the main screen up, but am unable to login to the EA servers. I checked the outage map and most of Canada is down. I hope they fix this quick, lots of upset gamers.

    I just bought BFBC2 for PC, and It gives me the same error. "failedconnect to EA servers".

    Is this a problem everyone is having? Is it still going on for you?

        Hi, 

        The game was fine yesterday. Not tried today.
