Battlefield Companion app: cannot log in

I have not been able to log in for over 1 year into the app.  I get notifications from the app about Battlefield 1, and I have even received notifications about my friends playing Battlefield 1.  However, when I open the app and then hit the Login button, it gives me an error message with the title of "Webpage not available"  Then, below that it says this:

The webpage at https://accounts.ea.com/connect/auth?client_id=sparta-companion-web&response_type=code&display=web2/login&locale= could not be loaded because:

net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I have uninstalled and then installed the app a few times.  I have tried it on a few different networks.  However, I get the same error message.  Anyone else?

    I had not tried that yet, so I did today.  I did the following:

    1. Opened Chrome app
    2. Deleted "Browsing History",  "Cookies and site data", "Cached images and files", and "Site data" for "All time"
    3. Then, opened Battlefield app and tapped Login.  I received the same error message as before.
    4. I repeated Step 2.
    5. I then restarted my Android phone.
    6. I opened Battlefield app again and tapped Login. I received the same error message as before.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hey @schmidtbk09,

    Can you try uninstalling/reinstalling the Battlefield Companion App on your Phone, and logging in with your Credentials?

    Thanks 🙂

    Sorry for the late reply.  I uninstalled and then installed the Battlefield Companion app today.  I received the exact same error as I originally posted.

    @schmidtbk09

    If you're trying to access the Companion App, that is the only Site available for it.

    Are you still having issues logging in on your Mobile Device?

    I've tried this personally, and haven't had any issues so far, and I'm using Android. I've had the App for a while, since Battlefield 1 launched.

    Yeah, I still have the same issue with logging in on my Android device.  I don't want to factory reset my device, which I think would be the next step. Perhaps I'll revisit it when I get new Android device.  Thanks for the help.
