Battlefield Hardline PC Campaign stuck on Prologue loading screen

I can launch the game and get past where it tells me to press 'Enter'.

Then after I click on Episodes and select the difficulty of the campaign, 

it shows the loading screen that says Prologue and it just hangs.

It doesn't freeze - the background music plays, and the gameplay tips keep changing and the loading circle icon keeps circling but it just won't progress after that, and the only way to get out of it is to kill the program through task managaer.

I searched the topic online and I have installed the new beta AMD driver,

and I have tried disabling Origin in game and cloudsave which someone said worked for them.

I have also repaired game through Origin and it still hangs.

Help would be appreicated. Thanks.

    It could be due to corrupted files on your harddrive. I would try doing a check

    Check Hard Drive For Errors And Corrupted Files

    All files can become damaged. This is just the nature of hard drives. Do this for all hard drives that has Windows, Origin and the game installed.

    1. Go to "This PC" in Windows and right click the hard drive and click "properties"
    2. Go to "Tools" and and press "Check"
    3. Click "Scan Drive" and let it scan for errors.
    4. If it finds errors let the program fix them
      (If there are errors it could mean nothing, but it can also suggest that it might be time to format your computer and/or replace the hard drive)
    5. Reboot your computer
    6. Run the scan again
    7. Keep repeating step 3-5 until no errors are found.
    8. If errors were found repair / reinstall the game

    7 years later and no answer. I have same problem. Just signed in to say EA f****g sucks. Any solution since last post?
