I am hopeful that the visible boundary around the capture flags is a placeholder. It has never been a thing in prior releases and not even something I ever saw anybody mentioning as wanting in the 16 years I have played BF games.
I would also add they should remove the green outline around squadmates. We already have their name and class hovering above them anyway. If EA feels they need these visual cues and assistance in their for accessibility reasons then please give us the option to disable them.
I don’t know why they create things that absolutely no fan of the franchise ever asked for. I agree with you that there should be an ON/OFF button for things like that. For me, the cleaner the visuals, even the HUD, the better and more immersive it is.
