Battlefield one wont sync to xbox one

Everytime I load up a game on xbox one it says 'syncing data' and is fine, but battlefield 1 doesn't, nothing comes up and every time I try to play this game it makes me start everything from the beginning. It saves my online progress in terms of ranking but I have to play the intro every time and also receive arrange my settings.
This wasn't too big of an issue as I could skip the intro but since the new update I can't even do that now.

I've literally not bothered playing this game for a couple of months now and is completely redundant as I can't even trade it in as it's an online purchase.

Ideally I'd like the game to be fixed so I can just keep playing as it is genuinely my favourite game

  • At first test your network connection:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select Network.
    5. Select Network Settings.
    6. On the right side of the Network Settings screen, select Test network connection. The test will run automatically and let you know if there’s a problem with your connection.

Check if your NAT is open as well.

Propably it is issue from xbox side so i recommend contact with their Support.

That sounds like a local issue as opposed to a network issue since your online progress saves. I recommend doing a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of your Xbone until it shuts down. This will clear the local cache and hopefully clear up the issue. You'll know the hard reset was successful when you start the Xbone and it goes through the long boot up process instead of immediately bringing you to the login screen.

I do the hard reset usually once a week, I finally got my xbox to sync with the game last night but as soon as I played through the intro and reset all of my settings again it took me to the menu and asked for an update, accepted the update and then when finished it sent me to the title screen and me replay the intro and rest all my settings again and then once I finished it for a 2nd time all of the menu screens just said connecting with an ever spinning loading symbol

    Hi EA_archi

I've managed to get the game to sync but it hasn't made a difference, the issue I have is basically the game makes me play the intro and screen calibration and settings are reset, then prompts me to do a menu update, once update is complete it sends me back to the main menu to repeat the intro and resets all of my settings, then once finished on the intro I can go into the menus, all of which just say connecting with a continuous loadding symbol. Cannot play the campaign or anything. All's I can do is back out and re play the intro.

I can't even trade the game in because it's a digital download, so stuck with a broken game and down £50 with no reason or solution as to why

Yeah I've tried every form of reset and Internet change and also deleted and uninstalled everything then retried it. Same thing happens
