Hi guys, i think i found a solution. I had the same problem as you and what solved my problem was this:
1. Navigate to your Battlefield 4 folder in your Origin Games folder
2.Find the json file which should be in the battlefield 4 folder
3.Replace the text in that file with this exactly: {"sku":"origin","build":"117022"}
4. Restart Origin, play!
This worked for me, i am so glad to be playing bf4 again 🙂
Good luck

Well reinstalling your whole OS is not really a "solution"
I did this and worked. I'm sure some steps aren't necessary but I don't want to skip anything that I did. It worked for me, and the problem I was having is that battlelog said that there was a game update avaiable but it was already updated.
First uninstall ESN Sonar and Battlelog plugins from Windows control panel
Then reset your browser settings if you're using Chrome.
Then run Repair Install on Origin.
Once you've done that, run CCLEAR and fix all issues.
Then Open BTF 4, install new plugins, and then allow the plugins to work on Chrome, there's a button on the right corner that lets you do that, or go to chrome://plugins/ and do it manually
