Below Radar on Scout and Attack Helicopters

No they are not.

You just have been shot by stingers/IGLAs which now (after 1.06 patch) can lock to below radar air vehicles.

Here is a copy paste copy from the OFFICIAL Battlelog patch notes post:

• FIM92 and IGLA now lock on to air vehicles at both lower altitudes and longer distances.

Well thats just awful. Choppers are now useless... :C

What do you mean with 'handhelds' and if it wasn't intended to work, then why is it in the game..

Ilga & Stinger are handheld anti-air weapons, Gustav Halling himself said that this was mainly made to counter Air Vehicles above the enemy base.

Personally, I almost never get locked by infantry carried missles, and if you are your simply sitting still for too long or your teammates aren't pushing at all. Unless your hovering over their base, there is no way an enemy should have enough time to sit in the open and acquire that lock.

why did you guys allow below radar to work against handhelds for so long then? everybody thought it was standard, and now with that gone AND no flares'ecm for gunners, the helicopters are no longer fun to use...you guys have messed up helicopter gameplay really badly.
