Hi, having that old problem of the game freezing up when quitting. Goes to a black screen, can hear music, but nothing happens. Ever. Just hangs there. Anyone else having the same problem? Was there a patch in the last couple of days that could have caused this?

I don't believe there have been any updates as of late for BF1, there hasn't been in a while.
However, can I ask what platform you're playing on, and what you may have done to try to resolve this?

Hi, playing on PC. Have made no changes myself either. Doing the usual fix of deleting the licence files in the Program Data folder for EA on my C drive , but that's not fixing the issue as it did before.

Thanks for the update.
Can you try fully closing out of Origin, including task manager, and clearing Origin Cache?

Then, try running Origin as Administrator and launching the game again.

Thanks for the prompt response. Unfortunately that hasn't resolved the issue. Same problem of freezing upon quitting and also the home screen continually switching between background image and black background with the wheel turning in the upper right corner of the screen (which was happening before). None of the usual fixes seem to work.
Thanks, many times over. Your suggestion was the final piece in the puzzle to fix the problem. Combined with the earlier suggestion of clearing the cache it's now working seamlessly once more.
