Thank you for your replies. As indicated, I've run Origin as admin already, no joy. I tried running BF1.EXE as admin now, nothing. I tried turning the origin in-game off, no dice.
I did a procmon trace in case it would help. BF1 runs for 10 secs, loads 160MB worth of stuff into memory and then exits with an exit code of -3. Devteam, what did you code "-3" to mean? Also, I saw in another question somewhere that someone else also noticed that BF1 on their particular issue loaded up +-160MB of RAM and then crashed. Is that just BF1 doing the cloud sync?
