Update: I now have the filter set (player number) for both none and 1-10. As well as excluding a couple of game modes I don't play. But, I have most of the game modes chosen. As well as all the maps. What do I see in the browser? About a half and half mix of servers with queues. Or, servers with one or two players that never attract anymore players. Unless you want to wait until hell freezes over. 6 or 7 months ago, I didn't have this issue. I could find mostly conquest servers (my personal favorite) with no queue and enough players. I understand that there may be a lot more players now than there were then. And new players as well. But, if that is the reason, why do I see so many servers with no one joining? Something is not working right. Maybe some kind of server load balancing across the domain. Auto Balancing would also be a welcome addition. But, EA/Dice don't seem to care. Content to let the situation go on as it is and lose customers for future BF games. Not everyone is interested in the campaign mode game. Many buy the games for the multiplayer experience. If EA/Dice cannot provide such and experience, why pay the price they charge for the games? I play BF4 a lot more again. Why? Because I get a much better online experience with it. I don't see queues. And I can almost always find a server to play on. And, there are servers with autobalincing, in game rules regarding racism, etc. This means the community isn't quite as toxic as it seems to be with the BF1 environment. Why did EA/Dice abandon common sense with regards to online play? Profits are the most likely answer. I suspect they figure it would cost too much to implement such things. Or to have real customer service. Or even a customer centric view. Disappointing.
Hey @MoonUtonight,
I see you mentioned Auto Balancing during matches.
There was an Auto Balancing system applied with the Easter Update, but has been temporarily removed for the time being since there were some issues with it.
It will be put back into the game once it's ready.
DICE is aware of these things, making improvements, and testing them on the CTE before these changes hit Retail.
As far as Servers go, are you still having issues finding Servers to play on for Conquest?
I'm in the Midwest in NA, and normally don't have an issue finding a Server to play on.

Well, glad to hear EA/Dice is finally implementing auto balancing. It is most definitely needed. And yes, I am still having the same old issue with finding servers to play MP on. Either the servers are full and have queues to wait through. Or, they are practically empty and never gain enough players to get a game going. Thanks for the info on the auto balancing issue.

Same problem here as well in UK. Can never find servers in Quickmatch or on the home page where it shows Conquest Trending 100+ results and when i try to join a server, i am always put in an empty server.
This was not a problem before but since the last month or so, it has been a major issue. Can never play it anymore.

Irritating and frustrating, right? It wasn't always this way. I used to be able to find Conquest servers to play on with little effort. Now, I see mostly 2 server conditions: 1 or 2 players "sitting" on a server. Or "64 of 64 (2,3,4,5,5,6 or more waiting). Now and then, I do find a 64 of 64 server, with a conquest map and I can get in immediately. Or maybe have to wait a moment in the queue. But, usually that is not the case. Another annoying issue is to try a server with, lets say 52 to 64 for team balance. You jump in to find that the team with superior numbers is kicking the * out of the team with only 52 players. This is because of no autobalance. Today a contributor to this forum posted that EA/Dice had attempted autobalance back near Easter and had problems with it. So, they stopped it. It is, supposedly in CTE and will appear sometime in the future. This will alleviate that issue. But they need to look into how their Inet structure is handling the load. It appears to me that some sort of server load balancing would be helpful in spreading MP players to under populated servers and away from over populated ones. After all, many of the servers are serving up the same game modes and maps. The situation now just pisses off customers who then transmit their anger and frustration at not getting their money's worth all over the internet. Kind of a self defeating thing to do.
