Issue for me is: start game through Origin, came will load in my background processes. After about 20-45 seconds i will see game window appear (blank) and process will move to running apps in task manager. After a few seconds i will see the custom loading "dots" in a circular pattern start and then window will close, as well as the process in task manager with no error messages.
Things i have tried:
Delete settings folder in <user>\Documents\battlefield1 folder
Make sure in profile that DX 12 is set to '0'
Force uninstalled video drivers and installed latest driver (nvidia gx950)
Repair game in Origin platform
Try and check for updates in Origin plateform (up to date)
I do not have overcocking software running ie: afterburner
One event in Windows 10 (64 bit) critical error Origin lost communication witb windows, but was unable to recreate that error again.
I am not at home, but i can upload dxdiag once i return home. I found no errors there upon quick look
Thanks for the extra detail. So I understand, as far as crash reporting goes you see 1 event with Origin losing contact with Windows, but there are no reports for a BF1 shutdown?
The timing doesn't really match perfectly, but I wonder if this could be a security software issue. Perhaps since the update an online component of BF1 is being blocked.
If you go offline fully, does the same issue manifest or can you get to the main menu/campaign?

Unplugged from internet, and tested your theory, twice, and still same results.
Also, timed battlefield process in task manager. It runs between 1:02 (1 minute, 2 seconds) and 1:05 (1 minute, 5 seconds). Then application windows pops up like it is going to load and then 2 seconds later the window closes with no error message.
Attaching DxDiag just in case that is helpful.
