BF1 Xbox stuck on connecting

Trying to go online at the main menu but it is stuck on trying to connect. Every time I log on it automatically tries to connect and won't give me the option to not attempt that. Problem is isolated with BF1 because all other games and apps connect just fine. I tried resetting everything but still persists. Anyone had this issue?

Did you try to reboot your router (turn off and remove power cable for 5 min. Then turn on it back)? Could you please check these articles?

For support, please visit the EA Help website. For instructions on how to use the EA Help services, please refer to How to use EA Help.

If that doesn't help, please check this:

In case you have "Failed to connect to EA Online" issue in Battlefield 1 or Battlefield 4 on your Xbox One you will need to try this possible solution:

    1) Go to Xbox Settings All SettingsNetwork (Network Settings)

    Spoiler

    2) Then, go to Advanced Settings►► Alternate MAC Address and select "Clear"

    Spoiler

After you will need to turn off (unplug the power cable) your Internet Modem (Router)  and wait 15 seconds and turn on it.  Then, also for Xbox One (turn off your Xbox One and unplug power cable and wait 15 seconds and turn on)

    Hey @BovineTarantula,

if you tried to perform the troubleshooting steps provided by @IIPrest0nII, would you mind sharing your Gamertag with me? It seems to be linked to an account different from the one you are posting with.

  • That's strange, because bovinetarantula is my gamertag. Did I enter it wrong in the account?

I am having the same issue with Battlefield 1 and Battefield 4 on Xbox One for the last few days..

all non ea games fine..  my PC, and WIFI devices are fine,

I reset everything didnt help,  I called my ISP for support,  they tested my connection and it is fine.

    netflix, youtube etc work perfectly..
all other games are also working perfectly..

    it is EA,

    BF1 and BF4 connecting..

or if  it does manage to connect and allow me to get into a server the servers are just suddenly dropping all players randomly..
I go back to the multiplayer screen to find that same server and there are now 0 players in it..

so there is something up with the servers for sure,  it has been happening for several days now..

    Are you under DDOS atack?
