BF3 camera spin

Is there a good solution to this? I tried resetting all my settings back to game default, and then the mouse wouldnt move in game at all. Another reset allows the mouse to work, but the camera to spin. Given how the games have been since BF3 and 4 I felt like trying them again before Bf6 comes out and is (hopefully) good and like Bf3 and 4. BF4 works no problem, just issues with BF3. I've tried the key under the escape key to bring up chat then to close it again, doesnt work, nothing from Nvidia running, cant see where to turn off origin overlay - can someone let me know. I'm sure I have asked this before but my memory isnt so good.
