Bf3 HUD is burnt into my plasma tv.

I have a panasonic plasma tv with the pixel orbiter feature and everything. I've used this tv for about 600 hour now (80% of which was gaming) I put my tv in game and adjusted the brightness a litle. I didn't notice any issues at all untill a few days ago. Whenever the screen is completely white I can see where the bf3 HUD would be only its pink instead. It's worst where it lists your squad mates. I don't notice the pink at all unless that area of the screen is white. What should I do? I've already tried using the "scrolling bar" feature on the tv a few times. I'm kinda freakish out a little. I don't want this to be permanent.

Ok so I Did a factor reset, turned off color management (makes the blues and greens brighter basically), ran that scrolling bar for about 30 minutes total, and didn't play bf3 at all yesterday and I got on today and went to a completely white screen and the pink areas are almost gone completely. You would have to look exacty at the pink place for mabe a second to even realize its there! But neither less, it's still there. I'm hoping it will go away overtime.

You need to move the HUD to another place on the screen. This is why computers have screen savers. Try something like switching to or from letterbox, or change the aspect ratio. You will need to do this every so often if you play this game that much. It has to do with how long that image is on that place on the screen at any one time. Or try to play hardcore part of the time. I understand it doesn't have the HUD. If you take a break from the game, don't leave the screen on while you are not playing.

Yes as a matter of fact hardcore is all in been playing recently. And can you actually modify the HUD in any way in bf3? I REALLY wish they had an option to turn the occupancy down a litle. I haven't tried changing aspect ratio or letterbox or anything. I geuse I could try that. Wouldn't the whole goal of changing all the stuff be to move the HUD around? I that so, couldn't I just go to bf3 video options and change the "safe area"?
