  • Yes, i have see alot of people having this problem. One problem can be that the grapic card dosen't support it or something else is wrong (motherboard, harddrive,C++ files etc.)

If all this is as it should be, then i recommend you to contact EA/DICE support through battlelog.

*Edit: One more problem can if you launch the game from battlelog, it sometime can crash.

Hope it will works out for you. / XSV N1T3MAR3™.

  • I'm assuming you've been playing BF3 for quite some time and had no issues before right?

Have you checked your GPU Drivers to make sure their up to date?

Have to tried performing a Repair Install?

played it all the time when it first came out. have not played in 6 months. downloaded premium with AK. reinstalled everything. now it does not work. there are to many people having this blackscreen issue so it must be a problem with the game itself.

one thing i have not tried is opening more ports on the router. do you think that might cause an issue? My graphics are updated but i have not updated my motherboard drivers. i read that it could cause problems. it is a gigabyte mother board.

  • Strange, I've a gigabyte 990FX myself and I've had no problems since the latest patch, and my motherboard drivers are up to date. I'm using an AMD 7970 3GB GPU. The only thing in the preferences that I have set in AMD Catalyst is to "enhance" the games I play, so it doesn't slow the FPS.
Don't think the ports would need to be altered on the router somehow  😕mileyfrustrated:

Yeah could be your motherboard, it's worth checking! 😕mileyhappy:
