I've got the exact same problem, and as it can be seen in your log (and other people encountered this issue: ERROR: Failed to copy D:\Program\__Installer\Cleanup.exe to C:\Program Files\Common Files\EAInstaller\Battlefield 3\Cleanup.exe.)
So it seems there is an issue with copying "Cleanup.exe" from one folder to another. I bet that if you go to check out the folder in "Common Files", you won't find the folder "EAInstaller" unless you can see hidden files. The file will be hidden, and every time I make it visible again, it will be made hidden again by some running process and then the install bar will stop.
Is run everything as an administrator, but maybe it has to do with Origin not having access to that folder or something?
I have been encountering this problem for one week and really want to get rid of it. Couldn't play it at all so far, extremely frustrating.
I recently had an issue like this installing Battlefield 3 from the EA app. (specifically it would fail to install DirectX with the "ERROR: Unable to launch process!" error in the install log. DirectX itself never generates a log so shows that it never managed to start the installer for it)
The solution for me was to install the game to the default location it expected at C:\Program Files\EA Games. If you install to any other location you may run into issues like this. If you really need to have it on a different drive/folder location you may have to install to the default location then move it later. (this will require registry edits and what not to redirect where EA app sees the installed game)
