BF4- Screen resolution wont change

HI all, 

I have recently purchased BF4 premium edition and installed the normal BF4 version with china rising map extension. I have also downloaded and used BF4 Realmware settings editor and imported my bf3 settings into BF4 settings. My BF3 settings were amazing clocking in at a smooth and consistent 50-60fps. Now, the issue here is that when I created a new profile in the realmware settings editor and imported my settings from bf3, i loaded the game (Test range) with the settings imported. It worked once, but now when i try to reduce settings or change settings in the realmware settings editior, save the settings and then open the game up, it will not change the grpahics settings in bf4. I have tried everything like creating new settings profiles and editing the settings in bf4 itself, but it always return to the default 1920x1080. So the problem summarised is my settings editor will not change the settings in bf4 and the bf4 settings are stuck or locked meaning the settings wont change after being applied. Also, some of the resolution sizes I am using (800x600) does not appear in the bf4 settings option with the minimum being 1024.
