BF4 Download size ? Latest update/patch

I have just recently started downloading the latest update/patch for Battlefield 4. The update was roughly around 1GB to 2GB to my understanding and I am having issues downloading it last night and have continued this morning. Although, the update said it was roughly between 1GB to 2GB it seems to have downloaded in excess of 10GB of data and yet the download is still incomplete. As I am with Karoo and KC communications in the East Riding of Yorkshire, United Kingdom the internet usage that we have currently have is a cap of 25GB a month, however, due to this download it seems that we may exceed that limit. To my understanding this seems very strange considering the Battlefield download was supposed to be only between 1GB to 2GB. I was seeking some advice as to why the download seems to have exceeded that limit by an excessive amount of data, and may result in us exceeding that cap. I can ensure you that we have not been downloading any other data or information at the same time.
