BF4.exe is crashing after last patch (25 feb)

My hw specs are:

CPU: i5 3750K @stock
RAM: 2x4GB G.Skill 9-9-9-25 F3-12800CL9-4GBXL 1600mhz @3stock
MB: Gigabyte Z77X-D3H
GPU: Sapphire 7970 Dual X @stock
HD: 2xSSD Samsung 840 250 GB + 3 HDD

Since last patch (25 FEB), after some minutes of playing the game started soundloop crash / freeze / simple crash like it happened 2 monthes ago. Before last patch I played a lot without any kind of crash.

I've tried to:

- Update drivers to 14.2 beta

- Downgrade drivers to 13.9

- Disable soundcard

- Set LOW all video options in game4

- Delete user.cfg file

- Activated MANTLE (terrible stuttering / cpu spikes) and crash too.

- Using bf4_x86.exe version

Is there a way to fix my problem?

Here the error on event viewer (italian version):

Yeah, what the H.E.L.L. I also encountered this APPCRASH after updating to the latest update trough Origin (game version 110067)... F**king idiots making mistakes before testing their s.h.i.t.. I can play for about 15-20 minutes and in the middle of gaming the screen freezes and the sound freezes sometimes too or no sound. Then Windows tells me that bf4_x84.exe crashed (I've also tried running the 64-bit version "bf4_x64.exe" - But the problem is the same.

Great !!! I haven't been using my PC from BEFORE the update until today (02 march '14), and I update the game in Origin and plaaaay but then crashing the game after this amount of time wasting gameplay and time for nothing and wasting the XP earned.. (Probably?)

    I have Windows 7 - 64-bit, i5-4670k @ 110% STABLE 4,4 GHz (Or else there would be a BsoD, HD7870 (2GB), 8GB of 1866MHz and 2TB of HDD (RAID0)... The only differences is this update.

I simply love you EA games.. OR then I just hate, when people generally comes up with an update, and then the update is full of bugs... ZzzzZzz... Waste of money! You don't even lower the price for the Premium package..  nor does the price go down if you just buy the CHINA RISING package and then later wants to buy the rest, then you have to buy the Premium INCLUDING CHINA RISING... What the F-U-C-K!

    Have a great day, morons..

@My system was stable too until 25 Feb! I tested the game all @ stock, removed any kind of overclock, I set all parameters to AUTO, memory to AUTO (i tried higher latency like 11-11-11 etc. instead of 9-9-9) but it crash. I tried to underclock too!  Before the 25 I could play @ stock and with a little OC too. I cannot understand if the problem is HW related or software related. (antivirus? other software/service installed?)

Same crash (the results is in the spoiler), and there is sometimes I can get it to run (with various options I've tested, like GPU drivers), I could play for a minute or two, then suddenly BSOD! Reporting that my AMD drivers were at fault. Some crashes happen as soon as game is loading, some crashes appear in-game after a minute of gameplay, and some crashes appear as soon as I hit the spawn key!

I've done all of this from & to:
    -Run as Admin
    -Repair
    -Re-download BF4
    -Re-format OS
    -Run 64bit, and 32bit
-Run low settings, and ultra settings.
    -I've added user.cfg
-I have put my system to stock clocks, GPU, CPU, and RAM
-I even went out and bought a new GPU(previous GPU Sapphire 7750
-Update to beta GPU drivers, and downgrade to stable GPU drivers
-Installed, updated, uninstalled DirectX, .net, and all over redistributed binaries.

All of which have resulted in inoperable gameplay one way or another, on both multiplayer, and campaign.
On Campaign I started crashing from DXSound DLL as well. The game is simply not playable now.

This is the result of the latest update from BF4.

    CPU: AMD A8-3870K
    RAM: 2X4GB ADATA XPG V2 1600Mhz (Overclocked to 9-10-9-24 1866Mhz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte A55-DS2 (V1.1) with latest bios.
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 7870 1Ghz core clock, 2GB memory GDDR5 (DD 1Ghz edition)
SSD: ADATA 128GB (OS and BF4 is on here)
OS: Windows 8.1 with latest updates from microsoft

Can you try please to write this command on console while you're playing?

    PerfOverlay.DrawGraph 1

Then say me if GPU or CPU had a spike when it crash/freeze/soundloop etc. ..

    P.S.

The strange thing is that since I use the drawgraph active the game does not crash....

  • Yes, the CPU skyrockets way beyond the chart! Also the GPU maintains within the chart, but both at the same time have a giant spike, then it crashed.

Last patch solved my stability problems. Now the game doesn't crash anymore
