BF4 is dead - can't connect to ea servers
So I load up the game on the 360, I chose which saving device I want (my xbox HDD). It then pops up a message saying failed to retreive battlepacks and then when I try to go into a menu, for example....

There were issues yesterday with EA online connection, try it again, are you still unable to connect?
I have tried again just now, still having the issue...
Earlier the same day the issue started, I was using the battlelog app to open a battlepack. The app then froze and crashed while opening the battlepack? could the two be related since the app crashed with battlepacks and the game's first error is about battlepacks?
