BF4 (PC) Launch Error: "GPU Does not support DirectX 10.0 which is required" (Even though it does)
I have a Nvidia GTX 260 but when I attempt to launch the game I keep receiving the error message:
"Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements for playing this game. 'NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 (Microsoft Corporations - WDDM v1.1)' GPU does not support DirectX 10.0 which is required.
Only that it does, it support up to DirectX 11. I've I read on one thread (from another user running a different Nvidia card but having the same problem) that it is some error with Microsoft's DirectX 11 backwards compatibility. Anyway is there an official announcment or explanation for this problem yet?
My card supports BF4 requirments, I have ensured card drivers, directx are up to date. I've tried everything I can think of let alone reinstalling the game (which I don't think will do anything seeing as it is untouched). Any help would be much appreciated, really hoping $70.00 was for nothing.

FOUND A SOLUTION:
Updating my driver via Device manager-autosearch for updates was installing a driver that was not compatible with BF4 for some reason. Anyway I downloaded a custom driver from NVidia-GeForce's site http://www.geforce.com/drivers and it's working now. Hence anyone with the same problem I would recommend going to your Video Card Website and seeing if manually downloading and installing a custom driver is going to work for you. Anyway Good luck, hope to see you all on the battlefield.
