BF4 Ping always 180+ (Normal 72)

Hi guys,

Why is my ping always so high? It's not my connection because the other usual games I play (Dota 2, TF2) are always consistently <70ms. The only time I get 70ms on BF4 is usually at non-peak hours and sometimes after an update when all the servers have been refreshed. When BF4 is at 180ms, my other games are still consistently 70ms, I even have the same server hosts for the TF2 servers I play on, the same as the BF4 servers (i3D.net).

It's making the game unplayable, how can I fix this? I saw on one thread in battlelog forums, about the ports to forward (there are a lot) so I've forwarded those.

    What kind of internet connection you use and what router/network card do you have? I strongly recommend to disable any firewall/antivirus software and close not all necessary applications in the background. I guess you already powercycled your router?

    I use my Linksys Cisco AE2500 Wireless Network Adapter (USB) and it connets to a router issued by my ISP (PLDT). My connection is 10mbps down, 1 mbps up. I always powercycle it if my other usually connection-reliable games start screwing around or if my speed isn't 10mbps. Powercycling does nothing to address this issue. Windows Firewall is off, kaspersky firewall is on but I added everything related to battlefield and origin to the exclusion, I also ticked all the boxes making it COMPLETELY ignore the game. It ignores all actions, it ignores all network traffic (doesn't monitor or fiddle with them), that kind of stuff. 

    I traced the issued router (since it was rebranded) to the original model which is a ProLink Hurricane 504AN. (PLDT calls it SpeedSurf 5004AN)

    Also, do I need to do anything with QoS Settings? Any program that prioritizes game traffic you know of?
