bf4 premium price drop

Evening Ladies & Gents

Just wondering if BF4 premium is going to be experiencing a price drop any time soon, £39.99 for a game that is a few years old sounds a little pricey and I do not want to invest into a game that is not going to be supported in a few months time.

BF4 Premium is not a game, it's a subscription that allows access to all Premium features and content for BF4. If you are looking to buy the entire BF4 experience with all content you will want the Battlefield 4: Premium Edition.

As for the pricing: Answers HQ for BF4 is a community based, mostly technical, support forum. We have no power over or knowledge about EA's pricing strategy for BF4. All I can say is that it's been on sale before and it's very likely to happen again in the future 😛 The base game is already pretty cheap 🙂

Keep an eye out as they have deals on Premium quite often. With the holidays coming up, I'm assuming they will have some deals again.

As far as you assuming they are dropping support for it soon, you are very wrong on this. They are actively supporting it now, even after this long after launch. They are even giving out some FREE DLC to us right now. They just released the Night Operations DLC about a month of two ago. They are shortly releasing the Community Operations, which has a map that was made in collaboration with the community.

Also, @Carbonic is correct. Make sure you purchase the correct item, as many people have come here thinking that Premium is the game, when it is just the entitlement to the Premium service. The Battlefield: Premium Edition is what has the game and entitlement.
