Bf4 requires 2gb content installation on every start up! need help

Could you please tell us the model of your console and if you have an original hard-drive?

I will provide you several workarounds, please accept as a solution if one of following steps helped you to solve this issue. If not, please respond that we can look for other possible solutions.

To make sure that no corrupt data causing your issue, you should clear your cache:

1. From the dashboard, click on My Xbox.
2. Select System Settings.
3. Select Storage.
4. Highlight Hard Drive Device.
5. Press Y to select Device Options, then Clear System Cache.
6. Reboot your console.

Redownload the updates for the game. NOTE: Not all games have a Title Update File.

1. From the Dashboard, click on My Xbox.
2. Select System Settings.
3. Select Storage.
4. Select Hard Drive Device by pressing A.
5. Select Games and Apps.
6. Select Game Title.
7. Delete Title Update File.
8. Restart Game.
9. Download the update when prompted.

Thanks I will give this a shot! I have the 4 gb console with a 320 GB hard Drive.

What kind of workaround have you exactly tried after speaking to one of our Game Advisor and do you have an original Xbox 360 hard drive installed in your console?

When i tried to install the first 2GB installation it would download 1.5GB of the download then stop and show the message that says you need to start the installation process again.  sometimes when i try to download again i only get about 350MB then it gives up. I have an origional xbox 360 hard drive please help i just got the game, I have been waiting for about 2 weeks to play.

is your disc dirty or scratched in anyway?

Yes now that i look at it close its extremly scratched.  Thats probably because I got it off Ebay.

try taking the a microfiber cloth or a really soft piece of cloth get it damp and try cleaning it just in case then air dry it or take another soft cloth and pat it dry. then try it. the disc can also look dirty and if the game is scratched there may be some small dust or dirt that needs to be cleaned out. after you clean try it if it doesnt work then your game is too scratched to work
