BF4 stuck on connecting

Hello my son is trying to play BF4 with me but can’t seem to get past the connecting screen, have tried hard reset but still no luck 

any ideas

    @SGlWARRIOR Oh, hm. 🤨

    Does he also have a active Xbox Gold membership on his account he wants to play with?

    This is required to play online.

    Make sure you login with the right EA account details this Xbox gamertag is linked to. 

    If it's linked to the wrong one you don't want to, try to login to this EA account on the EA website and unlink the Xbox gamertag from that one and then try to link it to the other one.

    Or even try to login on the Xbox with the EA account details when requested, while it's not linked to any EA account yet. This details you have to enter on the Xbox there might want to link it to a EA account then.

    @Its_Travis_199 Finally sorted the problem, turns out I couldn’t link them because my sons account was under age, so I had to change his age to make him illegible to play BF4 and able to link the accounts. Cheers for your help and input much appreciated
