BF4 Xbox 360 and Xbox One Premium. Can't access most CTE servers on PC!

I recently got the "invite" to use the CTE since I have Xbox360 and Xbox One Premium accounts. I also have a PC version installed that does not have premium, but only the China Rising when I purchased it Day One.

The CTE appears to still be linked with my PC character and not pulling the Premium membership from the Xbox.

I haven't had any answers to the open case or the supposed email I was supposed to recieve in regards to this. I know I'm not the only one, and there have been no answers via DICE or EA that even attempt to answer what I (we) are asking.

All I can join via the CTE are the China Rising servers. All others ask for expansion packs.

I am actually trying to provide constructive feedback on a product EA sells and feedback the developer asked for!

Sooooo.....anyone got any answers?

Sadly, you need Premium service on your PC account as well, to be able to play CTE for PC.

As you have premium for Xbox, you may access the forums and all, but on PC you also need the premium to fully play CTE.

But since you only have China Rising, you can only play those maps+ base game maps. Any other maps from other expansions, you will not be able to play, as you do not have them for your PC account, sorry.

There is also no way to go around this, as you do not posses this expansion packs. Please buy PC premium for your account, to be able to fully play the game.

That is true and that does stand, however still you do not own other expansions for your PC account.

Since you do not own other expansions, you can not play them on PC. You should be only able to play the maps you own for your platform and sadly you do not own other expansions for your PC platform.

There is really nothing we can do here to help you with this, as this is how it is. For any other help, you will need to contact, as so far that is all we got to provide you here about this matter.

I spent $240 for BF4/Premium on PS3 and PS4 and another $60 on PC. I'm a dedicated BF4 console player and wanted to participate in CTE on PC but now i have to pay another $60 for premium on PC just to participate in CTE? This makes me and all other dedicated BF4/premium members who want to participate in CTE to help develope BF4 very upset. I didn't want to down DICE or cause drama but great job DICE. You screwed your dedicated members over again. Why must console players suffer when PC players get the most benifits out of BF4? It's not right. Stop being greedy and think of your gamers. We pay the price, we expect results. Not more problems and less benefits for console players.

  • I have BF4 Premium on my PS4 and I have created an account for CTE on PC, but when I go to find a server nothing shows up. It says "SORRY, FOUND NO SERVERS" Any help?

Everything I've read in the last several months...

If you DO NOT own the PC version at all... BUT own Premium on Console... you can register, download and play the PC version of CTE.

    https://cte.battlelog.com/bf4/

You just need to the use the same Origin account you have the Console Premium on.. and a PC capable of playing BF4.

Dozens and dozens of articles like this:

    http://mp1st.com/2014/10/27/battlefield-4-community-test-environment-now-open-console-users-premium/#.VOe6nGjF98E

The only catch is that you’ll need a PC powerful enough to run the game. While you don’t need to actually own Battlefield 4 on PC, the promotion only offers access to the test environment on PC, as, currently, there is no test environment that’s native to consoles.
