BF4=Operation Metro?

So I love the new game its amazing but just like Operation Metro on BF3 did my game freezes on the 360.  Its really frustrating.  Looks like other people are having the same issue on multiple platforms so is this something we are going to have to deal with or is this fixable?  I tried playing using squad chat instead of party chat and it seemed to be better.  coincidence?  No clue.... I wouldn't have a problem with that if we could select team chat but i don't see that option.  Also how do I form a squad and bring them with me to the game I join?  Lastly why when I join a game does it say no commander slots available when I am trying to join the game as a regular player.  Even with slots available it does this.  These are all pretty small things and don't get me wrong the game is amazing.  The attention to detail is tremendous so hopefully these things will be corrected.  Rock on Dice rock on EA this game will only get better once the xbox one hits
