BF5 in-game Hub won't connect to previous BF games and vice-versa

Hello, so, I have BF5 both on origin and on steam, I play the steam one, the problem is that in the in-game hub for BF5 I can't chose to enter bf4 and bf1, it does not acknowledge that I own those games, and in the BF1 hub i can switch to BF4 only and not to BF5, i believe it is because I owned BF5 origin before the steam version, even tough i never played it, also the battlefield companion app does not ackowledge that I own BF5, I would like to have BF5 linked with the others, can anyone help me?

Yeah, that’s likely the main issue if the older Battlefield titles and BFV aren’t tied to the same EA account, the in-game hub won’t be able to connect them properly; once everything is under one account it usually sorts itself out. I’ve seen similar account-linking fixes discussed in communities, and even resources like CRK Codes can be handy for finding quick tips and shared solutions.

  • yeah I thought that too, but my bf1 being steam works good with bf4 on origin, and I've tried downloading both steam and origin versions of bf5 and neither one's hub works

@LordVader626 I don't know for certain but my gut says that in order for the hub switcher to work all Battlefield games would have on the same client (ie Steam or Origin). The hub worked flawlessly for me when all of my Battlefield games were in Origin, but I haven't tried a mixed scenario like your describe.

@LordVader626 Are your Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 installs through Steam as well or is that through Origin?

Have you ever used a different Origin / EA account with these games?
  • hi, yes steam uses the origin launcher indeed, and all my games are on the same account both steam and origin.

  • @LordVader626 I thought even Steam used the Origin launcher for Battlefield games at this point?

I would suspect you just need to ensure that all the games you want to switch to are linked to the same EA Account you use for Battlefield V.
