@VOLBANKER_PC The problems with just using an empty server are many. In the past couple of titles you need at least 4 people for vehicles to become available. Or in BF4 you only have certain vehicles available on certain maps which means it was cumbersome to test vehicle weapons against other vehicles. Same goes for stationary weapons.
And what about if you want to test (assuming they returning) call ins like artillery strikes?
I mean if DICE can make an entire Battle Royale game I think they can spare the assets to make a proper sandbox practice range. Nothing in the "essentials" list should pose much of a technical challenge save for spawning infantry bots anywhere and in lieu of that I would happily settle for having a few preset areas on the map with static dummy targets with a visible health bar and x/100 listing so you could see how much damage was inflicted per shot/blast.
In fact I wish they would drop the Practice Range name and call it Test Range or Mode because while it's definitely useful for practice it is even more vital as data discovery and validation tool.
