black screen with the spinning circle top right

this happens when I'm actually trying get into the gameplay like starting a campaign, or otherwise;nothing works anyway.Just black screen, which by the way doesn't take the full screen size but is windowed, and the loader icon spinning on the top right corner. Also the menu's graphics do not render well.Check the screenshots.

I've bought the full-on version with the extra maps and addons but haven't played  a single minute!(refund possible if the issue doesn't resolve?)

Specs:Windows 10 Pro 64bit version 1803, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 with latest drivers

I did try some solutions suggested in simillar threads but nothing made a difference.

  • Hey @user25900,

    Sorry you're experiencing this issue.

Have you tried the following steps?

-Make sure you're running DX11 and not DX12

-Run Origin and the Battlefield 1 executable file as Administrator

-Turn off Origin In-Game Overlay in the Origin Launcher, and the Battlefield 1 Game Properties in Origin

    -Disable Nvidia GeForce Experience

Try these steps, and let us know if you still need assistance.

    Thanks 🙂

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply

I've checked and I'm running DX12.Should I downgrade somehow? although the Profile file has it disabled

Run Origin and the Battlefield 1 executable file as Administrator
    did that nothing changed

Turn off Origin In-Game Overlay in the Origin Launcher, and the Battlefield 1 Game Properties in Origin

did the first part of the Launcher.I don't get what you mean for the second part;you mean my Origin Web Account accessible through the web browser?

    Disable Nvidia GeForce Experience

been looking but haven't found a relevant option somewhere

I get the black screen, spin arrow also.

    Waiting for it does nothing.

To get out of it, there is also an 'X' in the upper right corner.

Click on the X to close out window, game comes in.

    ( Almost a blank window in a window )

    PC

    windows 10, latest build
