Bug with FLIR [IR2X] scope for the SKS Marksman rifle

Hi Guys,

Just want to report a bug with the FLIR [IR2X] scope for the SKS Marksman rifle.

Basically it does not always give you the FLIR overlay on the scope. Sometimes when you bring up the scope it's there, sometimes it's not and you just have a normal scope with a red dot in the middle. This happens intermitantly during a round. It might be OK  at the start of the round, then on your next spawn it's broken, or vice versa. Occasionally it's OK for the whole round.

    Bugged flir/irnv scopes seem to happen randomly to me as well, but not often, where it only shows a red dot, and no special colors (black white/green yellow), swapping weapons seem to fix it.

    It's not SKS related I think as I don't have that gun, but have used the scopes on other weapons, carbine/shotgun/bolt actions.

    32 bit client PC.

    I seem to have an issue with the FLIR(IR 2X). When a match starts or I am respawned the optics do not utilize the FLIR until I unequipped then re-equip the item. I only have this sight for the SVD-12 so not sure if it is an overall issue or weapon specific. Just wanted to report the bug as well. Happens to me most times I have that weapon equipped.

    I have the same issue with the FLIR(IR 2X) attached to my M249. When a match starts or I am respawned the optics do not utilize the FLIR until I swap to my pistol and back.

     

    PC 64 bit.
